Our very latest production…
This time, Eric Breton has turned his huge talent to composing the music to a musical, with total success ! On a scenario by François Brett, of an action packed, well rounded story, Eric has found musical themes that plunge us into the atmosphere of the place and the era. A modern musical that is both gripping and fascinating.

For this production, we ventured out a little, from our usual line, as we love both the artist and the music! This magnificent 39 track, double-album is entirely dedicated to the work of Bulgarian composer Dobri Christov.
The warmth of singer Bisser Kostadinv's bass voice, accompanied by the talented pianist, Elena Nedeva, conveys all the humour, the vitality and the emotion of thes inspired pieces.

Our latest release and live performances
to boot !
The release of our latest album "Nathan le Sage" is to be accompanied
by three live performances at the Chien Qui Fume theatre in Avignon. You
will have just 3 days in which to catch this wonderful performance,
the 19th and 20th November 2010 at 8.30 P.M. and the 21st November

We've finally released the album of the stage show - La Chanson de Don
Quichotte, premiered at the Avignon Festival in 2005. This popular show
interpreted by top level artists, is to be played once again at this
year's festival. Recorded to BW Music's usual exacting standards, this
is another item for music lovers, audiphiles, collectors and obiously
an essential album
for those who have seen or are about to see the stage show.

Those of you lucky enough to have seen the wonderful stage show,
at the Avignon Festival will say that a CD will never replace the
atmosphere of the live show. That's as may be, but we don't see it
that way - we see it as complementary to the show, to re-live the
moments in the comfort of you own home, or simply to discover it
in its entirety. Recorded, mixed and mastered with all our usual
care and attention, we are proud to add this new album to our catalogue.

We're currently hard at work on an opera bouffe, Lyssi, the theme of which can leave no one indifferent : women have the means to stop war (if they want to !). Written by Christopher Neame and Anthony Garner, based on Aristophanes's comedy, Lysystrata, Lyssi is a wonderful mixture of happiness and tragedy, comedy, music and danse. To illustrate this brilliant and optimistic piece, Eric Breton has composed profound, captivating and joyful music. It will be staged in 2007/2008, both in London and in France. |
