Both calculators are in the same application and as a little bonus, we've added a metronome to the music calculator. The Windows version should run fine on any 64-bit version of Windows and the macOS version is universal so it runs natively on both intel Macs and Apple Silicon models. The applications are FREE for non-commercial use.

BW Music has a new look!
Yes, summer is here. Spring cleaning is done. BW Music is completely revamping their website. A new look and above all, more functional. A menu bar appears on all pages, giving you direct access to all content.
Furthermore, the site becomes much more comfortable to use on mobile phones (even small screens) and tablets. If you can't find what you're looking for directly in the menus, type a few words in the search box, and if we have something in the catalogue that matches, the search will find it. Clearer, better looking, faster and STILL NO COOKIES! What more could you ask for!

The meeting of the talented mezzo-soprano Lise-Eléonore Ravot with the pianist and composer Elodie Sablier, was the beginning of a new friendship and musical project. The result is this beautiful album with pieces by renowned classical composers and a good dose of Elodie's own compositions. The result is a wonderful moment of pure listening pleasure. In the artists' own words...
"Our duo was born after we met on stage for the creation of a musical show. A story of friendship began, like the creation of a perfume: the scents gathered here and there, all different and so characteristic, meet and agree to tell a unique story. Like our common desire to share our pleasure in living and making music live with joy and spontaneity, our friendship is laughing, sincere and natural."

Can it be 10 years already since we had the privilege of producing the album that celebrated Lady Bee's 40 years in show biz ? Time flies, and here we are celebrating this talented artists' 50th year under the spotlights, and counting ! Yes ! Lady Bee is back with another album packed with well-known French variety songs, plus an original as the cherry on top ! Another high quality album from BW Music.

A title undoubtedly inspired by the health crisis that is overwhelming us. "We are living through something strange. The confinement has been an opportunity to focus on what speaks to us inside, to ask ourselves about the meaning of life. Let's stop being angry all the time, chasing what we can't attain or change. Let's rather take care of the present", says the soprano from Villeneuve.
Barely two months ago, Lydia Mayo was on the bill for Messiah of the Bald People, an opera by the composer, also from Villeneuve, Eric Breton. It is he who signs the accompaniment and the piano improvisations of this new album where some of the most beautiful eternal songs are gathered, Kurt Weill, Piazzolla, Strauss, Bechet, but also Brel, Édith Piaf...

Texts by Jean-François_Cesarini, put to music by Eric Breton. Shortly prior to a sad premature death at the age of 49, French politician come artist Jean-François Cesarini, collaborated with composer Eric Breton on this album and his spoken voice appears on two titles. All the texts are his originals. On other titles his words are beautifully expressed vocally by talented singers Sarah Laulan, Lydia Mayo, Emilie Ménard and Pierre Guiral. Eric plays the piano accompaniment on all titles as well as on a solo interlude on the album. All compositions are his. Recorded as always to BW Music’s exacting standards in our own recording studios.

Songs in the Provençale language accompanied by a philharmonic orchestra. A fortuitous encounter that charms the ears and nourishes the souls of music lovers. In the words of Guy Bonnet himself:
"In the innocence of a first record one hopes first for success, for media recognition.
With this one, which marks my fortieth anniversary of Provençal songs and at the same time the fiftieth of my career as a composer, I have tasted all the joy of each minute of its recording. For in this beautiful story, is the end written? Is this the beginning of something else?" We took all our high-end equipment into a fine auditorium in Avignon, to record this album. The acoustics were perfect as is the recording. Another beautiful album from BW Music.

Dichterliebe (The loves of a poet) is a series of 16 melodies for solo voice and piano composed by Robert Schumann on poems from the German romantic writer, Heinrich Heine. This work dates from 1840, the year of Schumann’s marriage to the pianist Clara Wieck.

At his death at the age of only thirty-one, Franz Schubert left about a thousand works, of which a little over six hundred lieder. Composed on texts from some of the greatest poets of the German language (Goethe, Schiller, Heine, Rückert), they also included foreign poets such as Walter Scott, Shakespeare or Pétrarque.

Jean-Baptiste Brunier renown as alto super soloist with the Radio France Phiharmonic orchestra, found a new love in the baritone violin after a chance encounter. His instruments have been made to measure by the french luthier, André Sakellaridés.

For this production, we ventured out a little, from our usual line, as we love both the artist and the music! This magnificent 39 track, double-album is entirely dedicated to the work of Bulgarian composer Dobri Christov.
The warmth of singer Bisser Kostadinov's bass voice, accompanied by the talented pianist, Elena Nedeva, conveys all the humour, the vitality and the emotion of thes inspired pieces.

Those of you lucky enough to have seen the wonderful stage show, at the Avignon Festival will say that a CD will never replace the atmosphere of the live show. That's as may be, but we don't see it that way - we see it as complementary to the show, to re-live the moments in the comfort of your own home, or simply to discover it in its entirety. We're currently hard at work on an opera bouffe, Lyssi, the theme of which can leave no one indifferent : women have the means to stop war (if they want to !). Written by Christopher Neame and Anthony Garner, based on Aristophanes's comedy, Lysystrata, Lyssi is a wonderful mixture of happiness and tragedy, comedy, music and danse. To illustrate this brilliant and optimistic piece, Eric Breton has composed profound, captivating and joyful music. It will be staged in 2007/2008, both in London and in France.
