Anyone working with "Direct to Disk" systems knows the hassle of working out recording time available on a given disk, at various sample rates, bit depths and numbers of tracks. This little calculator does it all for you and even gives you the absolute transfer rate so you can judge whether your disk is "up to it" or not. It's all pretty self explanatory and there are help bubbles. You can fix either the recording time or the disk space by clicking on the red dot (it becomes a star). Click outside a changed field ot hit "Tab", to update the display. If you are using Safari, do NOT update using "Return" or "Enter" as it just resets the form. These keys can be used in other browsers to validate your entry.
