Anyone working with "Direct to Disk" systems knows the hassle of working out recording
time available on a given disk, at various sample rates, bit depths and numbers of tracks. This
little calculator does it all for you and even gives you the absolute transfer rate so you can
judge whether your disk is "up to it" or not. It's all pretty self explanatory and there are help
bubbles. You can fix either the recording time or the disk space by clicking on the red dot (it
