We at BW Music have three main objectives in helping musicians through the learning process

Simple pieces. None of the pieces contain any real technical difficulties. They can be played as from beginner level.

Short pieces. The length of the pieces, vary from one and a half minutes to five minutes. Easy to sight-read and uncomplicated, they can be interpreted rapidly, thus allowing the students to concentrate on the musicality and expression of what they're playing, and to listen to the musicians they are playing with.
All these qualities are vital in achieving the inevitable final goal of any music teaching ...

that of making music!

Modern and attractive music, helping budding musicians to train their ears to discordant harmonies within music that is agreeable both to play and to listen to, giving them a first approach to situations they are likely to meet in their future roles of musicians in an orchestra.

Of the 200 or more pieces in our catalogue, most are original compositions, created with these specific objectives in mind.

N.B. We can, on request, supply certain parts transposed for instruments of similar tessitura (range), for instance, bassoon and bass clarinet or clarinet and cor anglais.

N.B. If you're not hearing anything, check that your computer is sound capable,
and that your browser preferences for MIDI files
are set correctly. The QuickTime plug-in is a
good choice, but LiveAudio
or Beatnik should also
do the trick!!
