This is the first recording ever by the Nîmes
(France) Jazz Big Band, even though the band was established way back
in 1964 by Guy-Jean Labory (creator of the Nîmes Jazz Festival).
"Jazz on all Floors" was composed for them to order and premiered at
the Armature theatre in Nîmes in May 2001
