Odile Bruckert
Odile Bruckert obtient ses prix de Flûte Traversière et de Musique de Chambre à l'unanimité au Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Paris dans les classes d'Alain Marion et de Maurice Bourgue. Elle se produit à l'Opéra de Paris et l'Opéra de Lyon, à Radio France et en duo, trio et quintette dans d'autres lieux de prestige.
En 1986 elle devient flûte solo de l'Orchestre Lyrique de Région Avignon-Provence, avec lequel elle a notamment enregistré le Concerto en Ré Majeur de Mozart. Parallèlement elle étudie le chant à Londres et obtient un premier prix à l'unanimité au Conservatoire d'Aix-en-Provence. Elle suit des Master-Classes de José Vandam, se produit comme soliste dans de nombreux opéras, concerts, et récitals. Elle participe à des créations avec Eric Breton.

Il dirige le Théâtre du Balcon à Avignon depuis 1983. Dans ses créations il est à la fois auteur, metteur en scène (et/ou) comédien.

Eric Breton
After studying in the National Conservatory of Music in Avignon (piano, harmony, counterpoint and fugue), Eric Breton worked for many years as a pianist, performing in various styles - classical, jazz and dance music, arranging and scoring music, and conducting Jazz bands.
Two major prizes - Prix d'Harmonisation de Chant Choral (1989 - Ministère de la Culture et Region Champagne), and a Prix de Composition (1990 - Sacem et Region Picardie) convinced him to work more seriously as a composer. Invited in Bosnia in April 1994, he composed, during a night of heavy bombing in Sarajevo, an orchestral work "Musique d'Une Nuit à Sarayevo" which was premiered the following day at the National Theatre. This entitled him to the honour of being the only Frenchman to receive the Sloboda prize, dedicated to the Defence of human Rights and Humanism in Bosnia-Herzegovina.
In July of 1996, he composed in 4 days the ballet music "Krakovska Muza" premiered under his own direction with the Sinfonietta Cracovia in Slovaskiego Theatre in Cracow.
In October of 1996 Lord Yehudi Menuhin commissioned from him the "0uverture sur des Thêmes Bosniaques", which was premiered by both the Sinfonia Varsovia and Sarajevska Filharmonia, under the direction of Lord Menuhin.
Eric Breton is used to working with various ensembles: "Heptaméron", for 6 clarinette quartets and wind orchestra (Carpentras - 1996), "Concerto pour quatuor de clarinettes et orchestre d'harmonie" (Le Havre- 1997), "Fantaisie Concertante pour piano, vents et percussions" (Vevey/Fribourg - 1998), "Toccatrois" for 3 pianos (Avignon - 1998), "Theme et variations pour Basson solo" (Berne- 1999), "Tristan au Pays des Merveilles", for piano, vibraphone timpani and flûte (Berne - 1999), "Le Petit Flûté" for solo flûte (Shanghai 1999).
In January of 1997, he received, along with Maurice Jarre, the Posebno Award, from the hand of President lzetbegovic, after the premiere of "Suite for Choir, soprano solo and orchestra", in Sarajevo.
Composer of more than 50 major works incuding two operas (symphonic, choir, ballet, Chamber Music) Eric Breton has seen them played for Pope Jean-Paul II, President Bill Clinton, for the UNESCO, for President Chirac, Chancellor Khol, for the Ravenna Festival, with Riccardo Muti, and in the following countries: Italy, Spain, Switzerland, Poland, Hungary, Slovenia, Bosnia, Croatia, Austria, Germany, China, USA.
In addition to the aforementioned conductors, his works have been conducted by Ernst Schelle, Ingo Becker, Charles Ansbacher, Gary Brain, Teodor Romanic and Emir Nuhanovic.
Eric Breton also works for movies and TV and is the composer of many music CDs for relaxation.
Ambassador for the Arts and Culture of Avignon (1994), Honorary Member of the Sarajevo Philharmonics (1998), Eric Breton is member of the Centre International de Musicothérapie (Paris). He works with the Menuhin Foundation and UNESCO. He also gives conferences on his own way of composing (Budapest - 1996, Saint-Moritz - 1998, Dubrovnik- 1999, Aix-en-Provence 1999).
In November of 1999, he conducted two of his symphonic works during the opening night of Mrs Hillary Clinton's senatorial campaign (Carnegie Hall, New-York City) and in Dayton (Concert for Peace).
In December 1999 he conducted his "Bosnian Rhapsody" for soprano, solo flute and orchestra with Odile Bruckert and the Sarajevo Philharmonics, in Sarajevo, Zagreb and Ljubljana.
The 28th April 2000 at the Avignon Opera House, he conducted the symphonic orchestra and choir in his composition "L'Ivresse de Dyonisos" a new ballet-opera performance, with the dancer choreographer Eric Vu An. This piece was composed for "Avignon European City of Culture of the year 2000".
The "Messe d'Avignon" for Choir, Soprano, solo, organ and percussion, composed during the summer of 1999, was premiered the 9th of July 2000 for the opening of the Avignon Festival.
Early 2001sees the release of a CD of melodies for Mezzo-Soprano piano and flute, "Une Petite Robe de Fête", on poems by the renown French author, Christian Bobin.
The 25th April 2001 he created Houba Hop , for Brass Band, Mahore choir, djembes, solo oboe and solo flute, in Mayotte (Mahore)
The 11th May 2001, he premiered "Jazz à tous les étages" (Jazz at every floor), in Nîmes-France with the Nîmes Jazz Big Band.
The 26th May 2001, sees the premier of "Lettres d'une religieuse portugaise" (Letters from a Portuguese nun), for nine female voices a capella.
The 13th november 2001 "Pentatalk", a work for 3 pianos and 2 percussions is premiered at the Le Thor concert hall.
2002 hails the premiers of "Basson de Notre-Dame", "Aimer c'est agir", "Mediterranean Overture" and "Kunstparade". In 2003 he composes "Chansons des rues et des bois", on poems of the great French author, Victor Hugo. and "La présence pure"based on the works of renown French author Christian Bobin
